Raj commenced his insurance career in 1983 and became an entrepreneur in 1993 as a partner in an insurance brokerage in Guyana, then ventured on his own in 1999 when he formed RAJ SINGH INSURANCE BROKERS. Having extended his business interests into Florida in 2003, Raj now heads-up RISK SOLUTIONS INSURANCE BROKERAGE LLC along with his son, TREVOR, and wife, NALINI. Raj has never been satisfied with just obtaining licenses to administer his Companies and has studied extensively in the field of insurance and risk management. He has the distinction of completing the highest Property & Casualty professional insurance qualifications out of the UK and the USA, namely, the FCII and the CPCU respectively.
He is very actively involved in the sport of cricket as an administrator. Raj spearheaded the noble task of recruiting and managing a West Indies Masters team to the Masters’ World Cup in South Africa in March 2022. He is also expected to take a similar team to South Africa again in March 2022 since the 2020 tournament was aborted due to COVID
Trevor was only 18 when he started his insurance career in 2005. Has worked with several agencies including franchises of FEDUSA, BRIGHTWAY & WE INSURE before settling down now as a co-owner of RISK SOLUTIONS INSURANCE BROKERAGE LLC. Trevor works with numerous mortgage brokers and realtors and has been a million-dollar producer for the last 3 years running. Along the way, he has found time to complete the AINS professional designation. He also participates in one of his hobbies, playing cricket for Clermont Cricket Club.
Trevor absolutely enjoys serving the insuring community throughout Florida and has enjoyed great partnerships with his colleagues.
Her insurance career got started in 1999 with RAJ SINGH INSURANCE BROKERS in Guyana. Nalini does most of administration for the Company but still finds time to write policies for her referral sources and the general insuring public in Florida. Nalini is very detail oriented and spends quite a lot of time communicating with the clients of RSIB LLC.
Richard Hassad CPIA GENERAL LINES AGENT & INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Richard’s insurance career began in 2012 as a General Lines Agent where he operated an office for a National Insurance Franchise. Richard along with the team at the Fort Myers office were recognized as being a top producing office. Prior experience in sales and marketing helped him to build lasting relationships with industry partners such as local realtors and lenders. This provided the office the opportunity to provide insurance during the buying process to numerous clients achieving the American dream of owning their home. In addition to being an agent familiar with the many aspects of the industry he has recently dedicated his efforts to improving the compliance and functionality for the information systems and technology that are now critical in order to deliver clients and the agency with the best possible experience. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time adventuring with his wife and 2 daughters.
Tiffany started her insurance career in 2018 as a customer service representative where she spent her early days gaining knowledge about the industry while helping clients. Eager to further her career, she became an insurance agent by obtaining her Florida 20-44 Property and Casualty Personal Lines Agent License in 2022. She says it’s all about giving clients peace of mind. It is her goal to help clients understand what insurance policies make sense for them so that she can provide them with the coverage they want at competitive rates. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and being out on the water.
Kim’s career began in 2000 when she moved to Southwest Florida with her husband and 2 daughters. She started out working with an independent agency as an administrative assistant and later moved into a licensed customer service role for 16 years. She most recently obtained her Florida 20-44 personal lines agent license in 2021. She is dedicated to helping others and working as part of a team, her favorite part of being in a customer service role is everyday she gets the opportunity to speak with clients and build meaningful relationships. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren, she also enjoys camping, hiking, biking and college football.
